Now in its twelfth edition, European Mobility Week is back again this year, from September 16th till the 22nd.

'Smart and sustainable mobility - an investment for Europe', is the theme chosen highlight the close ties between transport and economics.

BikeMi, emblem of smart and sustainable mobility, supports the greenest Week of the year reserving special promotions just dedicated to it.


Sept 16th-22nd: annual subscription promotion


From September 16th till the 22nd 2016 all those who choose to join Milan Bike Sharing will have a discount of 7 € on annual subscription fee that can be purchased at 29 € (instead of 36 €).

The initiative is valid for new subscriptions purchased on and it’s not combinable with other ongoing conventions or promotions.


Here's how to purchase a new BikeMi subscription:

• click on the "Subscribe!" web page

• choose the "Annual" option

• fill in the registration form, entering all personal data and those ones relating to the credit card with which you intend to pay (Visa, Mastercard or American Express, not prepaid).

• The registration will be successful only after the confirmation of the payment completion.


Sept 16th: free daily subscription

On Friday September 16th, during the BikeToWork Day, BikeMi invites all the citizens of Milan to go to work using the Bike Sharing’s bicycles. For this reason, the daily subscription will be free for everyone who will join the initiative.


To use the service, it is necessary to subscribe with a credit card (not rechargeable) following the same process for the standard subscription: the fee of 4.50€ will not be charged. The extra tariffs of use and the ones for the electrical bicycles remain confirmed.


Sept 16th-22nd: Junior BikeMi for free


Bmj _0429From September 16th to the 22nd, the Junior BikeMi service will be offered for free to all the citizens who would like to let their children ride the bicycle dedicated to them. The tariff of 1€ for the first two hours of use, will not be charged.


To use the Junior BikeMi service it is necessary to possess a BikeMi subscription (annual, weekly or daily). All the types of subscription are enabled to the use of Junior BikeMi.


With only one subscription, in addition to a bike for adults, you can take a maximum of three bikes for children at a time. The subscriber can also choose to take only the children bikes without the one for adults.


The use of the Junior BikeMi is allowed only to children between 6 to 10 years of age, with less than 40 kg of weight.

The Junior BikeMi stations are eleven and they are located near five town parks (Sempione, Indro Montanelli, Basiliche, Don Giussani – Solari e Ravizza).
